Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a part-time Flight Paramedic in Arizona to join our air transportation team. The role focuses on safe patient transport and on-scene call work with a strong emphasis on safety and professional patient care.

You will operate within a team of experts, performing advanced life support and documentation for each flight. Requirements include a minimum of three years in a 911 or critical care setting and an EMT-P license for the service area.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of experience in 911 or critical care as a licensed Paramedic.
• Current EMT-P license/certification for states served.
• Advanced certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP) required before flight status.
• FP-C required within 24 months from date of hire.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within required timeframes.
• Perform daily base checks including narcotics count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact until transfer of care.
• Maintain competency through ongoing training and clinical experiences.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, and continuing education records.
• Operate and maintain equipment and supplies used by emergency programs.
• Foster positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals, and the public.
• Function as a medical flight team member.
• Attend pre-mission and post-mission briefings and complete required documentation.
• Assist in pre-mission liftoff checklists and flight operations support as needed.
• Adhere to safety standards to ensure safety of crew and patients.
