Responsibilities

• Investigates the origin and cause of fires and explosions per NFPA 921 and 1033.
• Collects evidence and documents scenes per NFPA standards.
• Photographs incident sites and preserves equipment and evidence.
• Interviews witnesses and canvasses for additional statements.
• Identifies compliance with fire suppression and detection systems.
• Prepares clear reports outlining damages and causes for clients.
