Responsibilities

• Assists with maintaining computerized inventory of materials and supplies in the fire department.
• Collects supply orders of various types and gathers the requested supplies based upon departmental guidelines.
• Delivers supplies to each of the department’s facilities to ensure that each facility has the necessary supplies and materials to carry out effective and efficient operations.
• Ensures that supplies and materials are kept in an orderly manner that supports accurate inventory control and the efficient processing of orders.
• Assists the Logistics Coordinator with the acquisition of supplies and materials on an “as needed” basis.
