Job summary

TAO Group Hospitality in New York seeks a part-time server to deliver courteous, professional service in a high-volume venue. You will present menus, answer questions, suggest items, take orders, and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining a spotless station.

Minimum 2 years server or Tao Group Hospitality experience required; fine dining and cocktail/wine knowledge preferred. Training includes Tao in-venue server program.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years server experience or equivalent Tao Group Hospitality experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of food and beverage experience required.
• Experience in Fine Dining preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge.
• Comprehensive knowledge of classic cocktails required.
• Basic familiarity with wine varietals and classic regions around the world required.

Responsibilities

• Actively takes orders, conducts full and complete food/beverage service, and monitors dining experience.
• Presents menus, answers questions and makes suggestions for all food and beverage items.
• Enter all orders into the POS system and follow cash/payment card procedures.
• Ensure the delivery of all food and beverages to guests and maintain cleanliness of stations.
• Work as part of a team and provide help to fellow team members; attend training sessions.
