Job summary

RTI International is seeking part-time Survey Administrators for a school-based study in Chicago. The role involves administering surveys in classrooms, traveling to sampled schools, and coordinating with school staff for scheduling and make-up dates.

The position is temporary, with an average of 20 hours per week during the data-collection period from November 16, 2026 through June 30, 2027. Pay is $22 per hour, with travel time and mileage reimbursed.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Valid US driver’s license with reliable car for business use.
• Willingness to travel and work in various weather conditions.
• Must complete required training and data collection tasks.
• Access to Wi‑Fi for data transmission and admin duties.
• Ability to safeguard project information and operate issued equipment.

Responsibilities

• Travel frequently to selected locations to administer surveys or assessments.
• Interact with students and school staff to explain the study and obtain participation.
• Coordinate with school staff for scheduling and make-up dates.
• Maintain equipment and submit Time and Expense reports accurately.
• Attend virtual project team meetings when scheduled.
• Assist with data entry and ensuring field logistics are smooth.
