Job summary

RTI International is seeking part-time Survey Administrators for a school-based computerized study. The role involves administering in-school surveys to students across multiple locations, with approximately 20 hours per week during data collection and possible field travel.

The position requires effective communication, English fluency, a valid US driver’s license, and the ability to work training and data collection periods. An orientation to RTI-issued devices and procedures is provided.

Qualifications

• Effective communication through speech and listening.
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Valid US driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle for business use.
• Comfort with RTI-issued tablet, laptop and related equipment.
• Ability to keep project information confidential.
• Willingness to work early mornings and in various weather conditions.
• Ability to drive to assigned schools, including overnight travel if needed.

Responsibilities

• Travel frequently to selected locations to administer surveys or assessments to study participants.
• Make in-person contact with respondents to discuss the study, answer questions, and obtain participation.
• Coordinate with school staff for data collection information and scheduling make-up sessions.
• Host meetings with school staff to assess survey date readiness and logistics.
• Track parental consent returns and student eligibility for participation.
• Submit timely Time and Expense reports and participate in team meetings.
• Operate and safeguard project equipment and ensure data transmission securely.
