Job summary

NCR Atleos is seeking a Part-Time Field Service Technician II in Kansas City, MO. This hourly, non-exempt role delivers frontline field support to ensure reliable operation of deployed equipment and systems.

You’ll perform first & second line maintenance, installations, software and hardware upgrades, networking support, preventive maintenance, and spare parts management on a flexible schedule. This position offers paid training, hands-on experience, and the chance to contribute to service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• 1+ years of experience in field service, technical support, or maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and ability to travel to field sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite first-line troubleshooting and basic corrective maintenance for equipment and systems.
• Execute simple corrective actions such as system resets and configuration checks.
• Support installation, setup, and commissioning of equipment at customer sites.
• Conduct preventive maintenance activities including inspections, cleaning and minor adjustments.
• Deliver and manage spare parts and ensure accurate documentation.
• Record time worked and service outcomes in service management tools.
• Follow documented procedures, safety guidelines, and site requirements.
• Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support as directed.
• Provide basic status updates and participate in service coordination meetings.
