Job summary

BoxLunch & Hot Topic is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1 in New York. You will support the store leadership team to deliver an exceptional customer experience and ensure fans can access the merch they love. Train new recruits and assist with daily operations to help meet sales targets.

You will open/close the store, handle register transactions, and use fandom knowledge to drive add-on sales while maintaining store organization and stockroom upkeep.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail store experience.
• Strong communication and leadership potential.
• Ability to manage time, operations, and customer flow.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience to encourage repeat visits.
• Cover the sales floor and support leadership when needed.
• Open and close the store as required.
• Process transactions and drive add-on sales with knowledge of products.
• Understand store sales plans and KPIs to meet targets.
• Assist with planogram changes and merchandising mix.
• Share fashion and music trend information with management.
