The Salvation Army Family Store is seeking a Part-time Assistant Manager to support store operations and lead the team in the absence of the Store Manager. You will assist with daily tasks, cash handling, and ensuring excellent customer experiences across shifts.

This role involves supervising clerks, training new staff, attending monthly leadership meetings, and enforcing safety and policy compliance while fostering a positive environment for customers and employees alike.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 2 years retail sales experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; TEAMS and SharePoint; POS system.

Aufgaben

• Supervise clerks to ensure compliance with directives and guidelines.
• Assist with training for new personnel.
• Assist with ensuring cash receipts are banked and reported daily.
• Attend monthly staff meetings for managers and communicate policy updates.
• Support customer development and retention to ensure excellent customer experience.
• Report safety hazards and protect personnel, property, and building.
• Report to Manager any detrimental behavior by clerks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
