Job summary

Archdiocese of Seattle in Puyallup, WA is hiring part-time staff to support Faith Formation Programs for Grades K-5, including Sacramental Preparation.

The role oversees weekly classes, ensures catechists attend, and coordinates supplies and safety communications with parents, working closely with the Parish Family Pastoral Assistant to meet program objectives. Attendance for Elementary Faith Formation and Sacramental Preparation is logged in ParishStaq weekly.

Qualifications

• Salary and compensation are determined based on internal equity, ranges, market data and applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, with consideration of degrees and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversees weekly Faith Formation classes, providing supervision for student check-in.
• Assures that Catechists are in attendance.
• Assure Catechists have necessary supplies for their lessons.
• Communicates with parents as needed for safety and well-being of children.
• Works closely with Parish Family Pastoral Assistant for Faith Formation to meet objectives and goals of the programs.
• Assures that attendance records for Elementary Faith Formation and Sacramental Preparation are input weekly into ParishStaq data system.
