Job summary

Archdiocese of Seattle is seeking a Family & Faith Formation Minister to implement and oversee a comprehensive Faith Formation program across Parish Family 16. The role emphasizes mission, evangelization, and collaboration with clergy, staff, and volunteers to form lifelong disciples in Christ and His Church.

You will coordinate sacramental prep, family formation, and youth ministry while maintaining relationships with school families and parish communities.

Qualifications

• Must be a practicing, confirmed Catholic in good standing and active at a parish.
• Bachelor's degree in Catholic theology, pastoral studies, youth ministry, or equivalent.
• 2+ years of ministry experience in a Church setting.
• Ability to engage with children and their families.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Strong time management and ability to handle multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Pastor and DPM to implement parish family mission and vision.
• Develop sacramental preparation programs and coordinate related liturgies.
• Plan and run monthly Family Nights and family faith formation activities.
• Lead and train a youth ministry volunteer team.
• Engage with parish schools to foster involvement and evangelization.
• Maintain communication and promotional materials for formation programs.
