Part‑Time Faculty Interest Pool – Computer Science

Portland Community College (PCC) is accepting applications to be considered for part‑time faculty positions in Computer Science. The department will review applications as need arises for new part‑time faculty during the academic year. Applicants may also be considered for substitute or full‑term class assignments.

Instructor Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or Systems Science.

Game Development Classes (Consideration)

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject.
• Two or more years of experience in computer game development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Recent industry or education/teaching experience.

Academic Credentials

• Official transcripts required within 2 weeks of the offer date for the degrees mentioned.
