Job summary

PCC Portland Community College is inviting faculty to join a part-time interest pool for engineering. Assignments will be at the Sylvania Campus and may include substitute or full-term positions depending on course needs.

Applicants should have a Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent qualifications and will benefit from a collaborative campus community focused on equity and inclusion.

Part‑Time Faculty Interest Pool – Engineering

Portland Community College invites faculty to join an interest pool for part‑time assignments at the Sylvania Campus. Applicants may be considered for substitute or full‑term class assignments throughout the Academic Year. This is not an announcement of a specific open position; the Department will review applications as course needs arise.

Eligibility and Residence

• Must reside in Oregon or Washington; employment offers depend upon establishing residence in one of these states.

Instructor Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering, or a Master’s degree in physical science or mathematics, plus at least 30 quarter hours of graduate credit in engineering.
• Or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, registration as a Professional Engineer, or demonstrated competency in specific courses.
