Job summary

The City of Chanhassen Recreation Center seeks a year-round closing Facility Supervisor for Saturdays, Sundays, and Saturdays (as described). This role is part of the team responsible for delivering excellent customer service to all customers and program participants at the Chanhassen Recreation Center.

The Facility Supervisor assists customers in person and on the phone at the front desk, promotes Park & Rec programs, fitness and rentals, handles rentals setups/teardowns, and ensures

• Provide excellent customer service in-person and over the telephone.
• Sell and promote City programs, rentals, and Chan Rec Center passes.
• Handle and resolve complaints and inform supervisor of unresolved issues.
• Facility rental setups/teardowns and cleaning.
• Perform daily cleaning of lobby, office, conference and meeting rooms, fitness center, dance studio, locker rooms and gym.
• Must have ability to lift 40 pounds to regularly move facility tables and chairs.

Job description

The Chanhassen Recreation Center is seeking a year-round closing Facility Supervisor for the following shifts.

3 weekends a month

Saturdays and Sundays: 2:15-8:15pm

3 weekends a month

Saturdays: 1:15-6:15pm

The Facility Supervisor is part of a team responsible for the overall delivery of excellent customer service to all customers and program participants of the Chanhassen Recreation Center. This person is responsible for assisting customers in person and on the phone at the front desk, responding to guest needs, promoting Park & Rec programs, fitness and rentals, setting up and cleaning up rentals for the day, and maintaining cleanliness and organization at the Recreation Center.

Duties include:

Provide excellent customer service in-person and over the telephone.

Sell and promote City programs, rentals, and Chan Rec Center passes.

Handle and resolve complaints and inform supervisor of unresolved issues.

Facility rental setups/teardowns and cleaning.
