Job summary

Virginia Beach Sports Center is seeking part-time housekeeping staff to support cleaning and guest services across the facility. You will work to keep offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms and public spaces clean and welcoming for visitors.

The role requires a willingness to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends and some holidays, with a strong emphasis on attention to detail and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or actively pursuing it.
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts (evenings, nights, weekends, holidays).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide information and wayfinding as needed.
• Provide courteous and friendly first-in-class service to all guests.
• Performs general cleanup of all areas of the building as directed, including offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms and public areas.
• Monitors for spills and cleans as needed; cleans floors and glass.
• Cleans and maintains bathrooms; restocks supplies.
• Handles facility trash and recycling removal.
• Completes special projects and daily assignments as directed by management.
