Job summary

Excel Facility Services seeks a reliable janitor to provide excellent cleaning service at Teaneck locations. You will keep assigned areas clean and follow the scope of work for all locations and assignments by management.

The role is part-time (Mon, Wed and Fri, 12pm–2pm). Benefits include Direct Deposit and Biometric Timekeeping with 24/7 timecard access, plus an employee discount after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and cleaning products.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently as needed.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
• Clean counter tops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms.
• Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas.
• Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary.
• Dust and clean cashier stalls, ceiling light fixtures.
• Clean windows and mirrors.
• Maintain janitor closets in a clean, safe and operable condition.
• Follow safety rules and use safety precautions.
• Complete SOW as requested and assigned by the manager per location.
• Perform general cleaning tasks throughout our building.
• Restock supplies in areas assigned.
• Maintain areas assigned in attractive and clean condition and notify supervisor of repairs.
• Participate in workshops and training to perform job functions.
• Request janitorial supplies to ensure adequate quantities for daily use.
• Ensure doors are locked at night as applicable.
