Job summary

Excel Facility Services is seeking a reliable part-time janitor in New Milford, NJ. You will keep assigned areas clean, perform the scope of work, and cover locations as needed by management.

Responsibilities include vacuuming, bathroom sanitation, kitchen area cleaning, restocking supplies, trash removal, window cleaning, and maintaining janitor closets. Must follow safety rules, wear uniforms, and report hours via the Time and Attendance system.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms
• Clean counter tops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms
• Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas
• Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary
• Dust and clean cashier stalls, ceiling light fixtures
• Clean windows and mirrors
• Maintain janitor closets in a clean, safe and operable condition
• Follow safety rules and use safety precautions
• Complete SOW as requested and assigned by the manager per location
• Perform general cleaning tasks throughout our building
• Restock supplies in areas assigned
• Maintain attractive and clean condition and notify supervisor of repairs
• Participate in workshops and training
• Request janitorial supplies as needed
• Ensure doors are locked at night
• Use Time and Attendance system to report hours
• Notify manager of IVR issues promptly
• Wear uniform and IDs at all times
