Job summary

Chimes International LTD is seeking a part-time Custodian for Monday–Friday, 10:00am–2:00pm, on-site at the Library of Congress, Washington, DC. Responsibilities include cleaning assigned areas, disinfecting restrooms, Descaling fixtures, and maintaining overall facility cleanliness.

The role requires adherence to contract specs, safety procedures, and regular attendance. Preferred candidates have a High School diploma and custodial experience.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to perform cleaning tasks per contract specifications.
• Must comply with uniform dress code and personal hygiene standards.
• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all Agency policies and contract specifications.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms and public areas per contract.
• Descale showers, toilets, and urinals; maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, and surfaces.
• Move, arrange, and lift heavy items as required; attend required meetings and trainings.
