Job summary

Chimes DC Brand is seeking a part-time Custodian for Monday–Friday evenings (6:00 pm–10:00 pm) at the on-site location in Washington, DC. Under supervision, the custodian performs general cleaning and maintenance to keep facilities clean, safe, and well-maintained.

The role involves cleaning offices and common areas, floor care, and assisting with events. It operates under the supervision of the Project Manager and on-site Supervisor, with attention to safety and contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, common areas, restrooms, and public spaces
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces
• Empty trash and replenish restroom supplies
• Clean windows, glass, mirrors, walls, elevators, and other building surfaces
• Spot clean carpets and perform floor care as needed
• Assist with furniture setup and breakdown for special events
• Remove snow and ice from walkways (when required)
• Safely use cleaning equipment and supplies
• Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards
• Follow all safety policies and contract requirements
