Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Custodian for a Monday-Friday shift in Washington, DC. The role involves cleaning a variety of spaces, following contract specifications, and maintaining high standards of hygiene in public and work areas.

The position is part-time, on-site at the Department of Interior location in Washington, DC 20240. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with at least six months of custodial experience recommended. Equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all Agency policies and contract specifications.
• Clean assigned areas in accordance with contract specifications.
• Disinfect restrooms and public spaces and maintain cleanliness.
• Move, lift, and arrange heavy items as required.
• Attend required meetings and in-service training.
• Pass and comply with building security requirements and procedures.
