Job summary

Target Optical, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking a Part-Time Optometric Technician to deliver exceptional patient service and support ophthalmic care. You will assist patients, explain procedures, manage prescriptions, and keep the clinic orderly while supporting the optometrist with pre-exam testing and lens ordering.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of guest service experience, strong communication skills, and comfort with cash handling and basic math.

Qualifications

• At least one year of strong guest service experience is required.
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience is expected.
• Strong communication and listening skills with guests and associates.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide attentive service.
• Explain visits, required paperwork, tests, products and timelines.
• Review prescriptions and patient information with care.
• Operate the POS system and handle payments accurately.
• Maintain store appearance and organize displays; assist with inventory.
