Job summary

LensCrafters in Wayne, NJ is seeking a Sales Associate for a part-time position to deliver the highest level of service in eyewear and eye care. You will help customers select frames, interpret prescriptions, and ensure a positive, memorable experience in every LensCrafters visit.

Responsibilities include achieving sales targets, using the POS system, assisting with measurements, and maintaining an organized, welcoming store.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years experience in retail or customer service.
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers & calculators with basic phone and math skills.
• Embrace new technology with high level of accuracy.
• Ability to sell through use of sales skills and accountability for sales results, with a desire to meet goals.
• Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
• Self‑Motivator with the ability to multi‑task in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives through cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Utilizes optical prescription to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
• Assists patients in selecting frames and coordinates frames with optical measurements.
• Conducts measurements using appropriate optical tools and consults with Optician as needed.
• Actively participates in creating a positive store environment and strong relationships with peers, management, doctors and support staff.
• Keeps displays and inventory clean, attractive and organized.
• Helps foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
