Physicians Eyecare Group in Farmington, NM, is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner (CNP) to join our eyecare center. You will provide comprehensive eye care services including full ocular assessments while delivering integrative optometric care.

The role requires an active NM NP license, DEA registration, and 2+ years of clinical NP experience; ophthalmology or integrative medicine background preferred. Collaborative team, flexible schedule, and patient-centered care are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted NM NP license.
• Current DEA registration or eligibility in NM.
• MSN or DNP from an accredited program.
• Minimum 2 years NP experience; ophthalmology/imaging preferred.
• Proficiency with EHREMR systems and clinical documentation.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams including acuity testing and refractions.
• Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions (dry eye, conjunctivitis, glaucoma).
• Co-manage pre/post operative care for cataract, LASIK, and other procedures.
• Order imaging and diagnostic tests (OCT, visual fields, fundus photos).
• Refer to ophthalmologists or specialists when needed.
• Provide integrative optometric care addressing nutrition and lifestyle factors.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and support quality initiatives.
