Job summary

Private Prep NYC LLC in New York is seeking a part-time EF Coach to support neurodivergent and anxious students with empathetic, strategic guidance. Roles include online coaching at $50-55/hr and in-person at $70-75/hr, with some weekend and weekday availability.

Coaches travel around NYC for in-person sessions, read Action Plans (including evaluations and reports), and coordinate with the Director of EF. Weekly sessions are 30–60 minutes, with summaries and six-week progress reports.

Qualifications

• Experience working with neurodivergent, anxious, and overbooked students.
• Empathetic and strategic guidance for getting things done.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide EF coaching with weekend and weekday availability.
• Be highly responsive to emails and internal systems within 12–24 hours.
• Travel around NYC for in-person sessions and coordinate with the Director of EF.
• Read and incorporate Action Plan details from families (neuropsychology evaluations, teacher notes, reports).
• Schedule and confirm goals as set in Action Plans.
• Deliver ongoing coaching remotely or in person as requested; adjust frequency and duration of sessions.
• Write informative session summaries and progress reports every 6 weeks.
• Provide 360 support by coordinating with directors, other coaches, and the student’s support team.
• Participate in EF Team meetings to share best practices and develop the service.
• Leverage knowledge of Executive Functioning skills and related background.
