Job summary

The Kiran Anjali Project (KAP) is seeking an Executive Director (part-time) to lead mission-driven work advancing education for underserved girls in India. You will translate the organization's vision into measurable impact by strengthening fundraising, operations, and partnerships while hands-on executing in a lean team.

As chief ambassador, you will work with the Board to grow sustainable funding, deepen donor relations, and ensure transparent financial stewardship and program evaluation

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of senior leadership in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
• Proven success in fundraising and donor cultivation, including major gifts.
• Strong financial acumen with budgeting, oversight, and performance metrics.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution in a lean org.
• Grant writing and grants management experience.
• Experience working with Boards of Directors and governance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of the strategic plan with the Board.
• Drive fundraising across donors, grants, events, and partnerships.
• Oversee budgeting, cash flow, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Manage program partnerships and international engagement with accountability.
• Foster a collaborative, transparent culture and lean operations.
