Job summary

Moraine Valley Community College’s Center for Disability Services seeks a part-time Test Proctor to administer and proctor exams for students with testing accommodations at the Main Campus.

You will support accommodations, maintain exam security, assist with record-keeping, and complete training for third-party vendors. This is a part-time, on-site role with 15 hours per week, paid at $15.00 per hour, for approximately 44 weeks per year.

Qualifications

• General office and customer service skills.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and proctor faculty issued exams as well as college placement tests to new and current students both individually and in group settings.
• Provide support for accommodations such as reading aloud or scribing information for students.
• Maintain security of exams and notify staff about any testing irregularities.
• Assist with simple record-keeping about exams.
• Assist with returning exams to faculty.
• Complete appropriate training to administer exams requiring approval and/or certification through third-party test vendors.
