Job summary

Moraine Valley Community College is seeking a part‑time Testing Specialist for the PM shift at the Main Campus. You will assist with coordinating academic and placement testing, support proctors, and ensure accurate test administration to promote student success.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years in higher education testing, with strong communication skills and familiarity with testing software and accommodations for testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in liberal arts and sciences, business or a related field.
• 1–2 years of work experience in higher education, preferably in Testing.
• Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills and some familiarity with computerized testing software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the coordination of academic and placement testing operations.
• Lead proctors in the distribution and collection of class specific assessment tools.
• Monitor daily operations of the Placement Testing computer lab and coordinate with IT.
• Track monthly status of placement tests and recommend annual test purchases.
• Collaborate with Disability Services to evaluate testing accommodations.
