Ivy Tech Community College in Valparaiso seeks a part-time proctor to administer certifications and high-stakes exams, ensuring policy adherence and accurate recordkeeping. You will work evenings, troubleshoot basic tech issues, and support scheduling and customer inquiries with a professional demeanor.
The role requires an associate degree and 3+ years in admin support, strong communication, and solid MS Office skills. Background checks apply; benefits for part-time staff are offered.
This position is responsible for the administration and documentation of certifications/assessments and will work closely with the Testing Center Manager/Director to maintain currency (certified proctor) in skills and procedures for potential and enrolled college students utilizing approved assessment instruments and standardized procedures, and for high stakes workforce certification exams according to required protocols and guidelines.
Monday and Tuesday; 4:00pm - 9:00pm
10 hours per week
Every Four Weekly Cycle Midterms & Finals Differential - hours may adjust to accommodate increase in testing
Flexible Availability Required; Must be willing to work evening hours as needed
Schedule is subject to change based on the needs of the department
Pay: $15.00/hour
