Job summary

Bronson South Haven is seeking an EVS Technician for a 20-hour weekly role. Under supervision, you will clean patient rooms and public areas, stock supplies, and maintain equipment in a healthcare setting.

You will work with environmental services staff to ensure infection control standards are met, communicate with caregivers, and follow safety regulations. The job requires good English communication and reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

• English communication at an 8th grade level or higher.
• Interpersonal skills and excellent customer service.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical duties.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient data per HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms, occupied and unoccupied, public areas and surgical areas as assigned.
• Stock supplies and maintain cleaning equipment.
• Follow Environmental Services policies and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with nurses and staff to coordinate tasks.
• Operate UV disinfection equipment where applicable.
