Job summary

Bronson Healthcare Environmental Services is seeking a dedicated Environmental Service Technician to maintain infection control standards and support patient care areas, public spaces, and surgical zones. You will follow the facility's cleaning protocols, stock supplies, and operate cleaning and floor-care equipment.

This role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work independently; training is provided and adherence to HIPAA and safety policies is essential.

Qualifications

• Must communicate in English (written and verbal) at or above 8th grade level.
• Able to work independently and manage priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of hospital cleaning procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of patient rooms, public areas, surgical and ancillary areas.
• Restock supplies and communicate needs to nursing staff.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and report malfunctions.
• Follow HIPAA and safety regulations; maintain confidentiality.
