Job summary

Bronson Healthcare is seeking an EVS Tech for the 2nd shift to maintain cleanliness and infection control standards at BLH Bronson LakeView Hospital. You will clean patient rooms, public areas, and surgical spaces while stocking supplies and following policy guidelines.

This role requires strong English communication, independence, and excellent customer service. You may operate cleaning equipment and must adhere to HIPAA confidentiality and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English (at or above the 8th grade level) with departmental staff and customers.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Willingness to follow isolation procedures and safety policies.
• May operate environmental equipment as needed (e.g., IMops, UV disinfection).

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms, occupied and unoccupied, public areas, and surgical areas.
• Stock supplies and maintain cleaning equipment.
• Follow system cleaning procedures and safety regulations.
• Communicate needs and report findings to supervisors and nurses.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and HIPAA compliance.
