BEST Crowd Management in Ft. Lauderdale is seeking an Event Staff / Security professional to support venues with entry control, crowd management, and guest assistance.

This part-time role blends event duties with security tasks to maintain safety and provide a positive attendee experience. Ideal candidates are 18+, with a high school diploma, strong communication, physical fitness, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Experience in event security or related field is advantageous.
• Must be physically able to stand/walk for long periods.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities expected.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Security license or willingness to obtain one if required.
• Background check and drug screening must be passed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup and equipment/signage placement.
• Monitor access points and conduct security checks.
• Provide friendly guest service and answer attendee questions.
• Collaborate with staff and security to maintain safety.
• Assist in crowd management and control entry/exit flow.
