Job summary

Allied Universal® Event Services is hiring for Event Security Officers in Reno, NV. You will check bags, enforce access control, and assist with crowd safety while delivering excellent guest service. Training is provided and PILB license assistance is available.

Starting pay is $21.50 per hour. Flexible part-time schedules fit students, retirees, or those seeking a dynamic role in event staffing at major venues.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma, equivalent or five years of work experience.
• A valid Nevada PILB Security Guard Registration is required upon hire with assistance provided.
• Background check and drug/alcohol screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Check bags and enforce access control at venue entrances.
• Verify wristbands and badges; direct guests and traffic as needed.
• Screen guests using hand wand or metal detector and ID verification.
• Provide a safe, friendly guest experience and respond to security issues as they arise.
