Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, has a part-time armed security role in Reno, NV with a fixed shift and opportunities to take on extra shifts via our scheduling platform.

The role offers a $25.00 per hour pay rate, a six-month anchor shift commitment, and the potential to increase earnings through additional shifts. Eligible applicants may receive a sign-on bonus and weekly or instant pay options.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Armed guard card/license preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and public in security routines at a government location.
• Respond to incidents and inquiries with calm, professional problem-solving and proper reporting.
• Conduct armed patrols of government buildings, grounds, and parking areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and support access-control procedures for visitors, personnel, vehicles, and deliveries.
• Prepare incident reports and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
