Job summary

Oak View Group in Robstown, TX is seeking a part-time Operations Staff member to support event setup, custodial tasks, and light maintenance. You will assist with logistics, guest help, venue prep, and coordination with organizers, vendors, and attendees.

Schedule varies by events; hourly pay ranges from $10.00 to $12.00. Join a dynamic team responsible for smooth event operations, pre- and post-event tasks, and ensuring venues are returned to their original condition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in events, hospitality, customer service, or operations is an advantage.
• Ability to work indoors/outdoors and lift/push/pull equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-event inspections to verify equipment is functioning.
• Assist guests, attendees, and vendors with inquiries and directions.
• Monitor event flow and address operational issues as they arise.
• Monitor inventory and supplies during events.
• Coordinate with event coordinators, vendors, and venue staff.
• Assist with loading and unloading event materials and equipment.
• Ensure timely delivery and placement of event resources.
• Greet guests and provide professional, friendly assistance.
• Assist with dismantling event setups after completion.
• Organize, pack, and store equipment and materials.
• Clean event spaces and ensure venues are returned to their original condition.
• Report damaged or missing equipment to supervisors.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
• Identify and report hazards, accidents, or incidents immediately.
• Perform routine housekeeping duties and maintain common areas during events.
• Safely operate equipment to transport supplies and trash across the venue.
