Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking a Part-time Operations Team Member for Owensboro Convention Center. The role supports event execution, equipment setup/teardown and daily facility upkeep, with hours varying by event schedule.

Compensation is $15.00 per hour. Benefits include a 401(k) savings plan and matching. Open through December 31, 2026, with responsibilities spanning maintenance, guest services, and team mentoring.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to follow verbal, written, and diagrammed instructions.

• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift/move heavy objects.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down event equipment per documents.
• Maintain convention center and equipment daily.
• Perform housekeeping duties before/after events as needed.
• Review event documents to understand needs and timelines.
• Communicate scheduling and availability with supervisors.
• Mentor/train new staff on procedures as directed.
• Ensure cleanliness and success of events and venue.
