Job summary

Walters Wedding Estates in College Station, TX is seeking an Event Manager to lead our food and beverage team during events. You will be at the forefront of event execution, coordinating staffing, training, and guest experiences under the Operations Manager.

The role requires at least 1 year of related experience, a College Degree or relevant work history, and Texas TABC/food handler licenses. Expect weekends/evenings with a part-time schedule and room for growth in a high-energy team.

Qualifications

• Experience in event management or banquet operations.
• Texas-registered/licensed food handler certification and alcohol service knowledge preferred.
• Able to lift 30 lbs and stand/walk long shifts as required by events.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring and training of banquet staff (Bartenders, Servers, Dishwashers).
• Ensure banquet staff clock-in/out procedures are followed.
• Schedule hourly staff for events at the venue, maintaining proper staffing levels.
• Execute BEOs and deliver exceptional customer service to drive 5-star reviews.
• Follow safe food handling guidelines at all times.
