Job summary

Legends Global, the operator of the Albuquerque Convention Center, is seeking a Part Time Maintenance Technician to perform general repairs, painting, and routine upkeep during events and non-event days.

You will handle minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry tasks and preventive maintenance, with emphasis on safety and efficient work orders. High school diploma required; HVAC or related certificate is a plus, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays may be needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general plumbing, electrical, and HVAC techniques.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and instructions.
• Two years prior experience preferred.
• High School Diploma/GED required; HVAC/building maintenance Certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs minor electrical maintenance, including replacement/repair of fixtures.
• Troubleshooting and repairing facility equipment.
• Perform minor carpentry repairs (sheet rock, etc.).
• Perform minor plumbing repairs and replacements (leaks, unclogging).
• Enter PMs in database and complete work orders efficiently.
• Work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
