Job summary

The Minnesota Orchestra is seeking a Part-Time Building Services Cleaner to join the Facilities team. This role will support cleanliness, safety and the overall appearance of Orchestra Hall before, during, and after concerts and events.

You will perform custodial work, routine cleaning and room resets to keep spaces ready for staff, musicians and guests. Under supervision of the Building Services Cleaner Lead and administrative reporting to the Facility Manager, you will work independently and

Qualifications

Two (2) years of cleaning experience or related facility experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work independently to accomplish tasks and also with a team.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with staff and guests.
Interest in the mission and work of the Minnesota Orchestra.

Responsibilities

Maintain clean, safe, welcoming spaces during events in all areas of Orchestra Hall.
Handle trash, recycling and compostable collection and respond to spills.
Assist with building tasks and special projects as needed; report facility or safety concerns.
Move tables, chairs, equipment and event materials as required.
Ensure windows and surfaces are cleaned to OSHA standards when accessible.
