Job summary

Hurst Conference Center is seeking a part-time A/V Specialist to set up and tear down audio and video gear for events.

You will connect presentations to projectors and house sound, support clients, and work evenings and weekends as needed.

The role requires flexible hours, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and collaboration with staff and vendors to ensure smooth, professional events.

Qualifications

• Some experience in event production e.g. audio visual, sound/light mixers, decorative lighting, and event support.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and essential job function screening.
• Availability days, evenings, Saturday and/or Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down of AV equipment.
• Connect presentations to projectors and house sound.
• Assist staff and clients with evening and weekend events.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors when required.
• Ensure events are coordinated and executed professionally and safely.
