Audio Visual Student Technician

Assist the University Audio‑Visual Department with AV setups and classroom technology support. The role requires a team‑oriented individual with flexible availability during Monday to Friday, 8a.m. – 5p.m., and occasional evening or weekend hours to cover events.

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure speaker systems, projection equipment, and connect devices to projectors or televisions.
• Load PowerPoint or other media content onto room computers and ensure proper display on projectors or TVs.
• Support video‑conference calls using Cisco, Webex, Zoom, and other applications.
• Assist with minor maintenance and troubleshooting of AV equipment during events.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to meet event AV requirements.

Compensation & Working Hours
