Job summary

LAZ Parking is seeking event staff for upcoming uptown openings in Charlotte, NC. The role involves greeting customers, handling payments, distributing tickets, and guiding traffic during events such as sports, concerts, and graduations.

Candidates should be able to work part-time, enjoy a second job, and participate in paid training. Uniforms are provided and wages are paid via Pay Active for on-demand access to earned wages.

Qualifications

• Greeting customers with courtesy and high level of service.
• Collect parking fees and provide correct change.
• Understand and handle different types of parkers (tenants, visitors, employees).
• Understand surroundings and event details to answer questions.
• Distribute tickets accurately.
• Expedite traffic flow in a timely fashion.
• Follow all safety standards.
• Communicate with management and supervisors.
• Answer questions about parking and general inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet each customer with courtesy and great customer service.
• Collect the parking fees and provide correct change.
• Understand and know how to handle the different types of parkers (tenants, visitors, employees, administration).
• Understand the surroundings and event details to answer questions.
• Accurately distribute tickets (proof of purchase) to each customer.
• Expedite the traffic flow in a timely fashion.
• Follow all safety standards.
• Communicate with management, supervisors and traffic directors.
• Answer customer service questions concerning parking and general inquiries, refer questions to supervisor when applicable.
• Determine traffic flow during equipment failure or construction.
• When closing, pick up walkie-talkies, vests, and cones.
• Garage maintenance after events.
