Job summary

Pivot Parking seeks an Event Parking Attendant to help manage parking during events, direct traffic, and ensure regulatory compliance. This is a seasonal/part-time role based in Downtown Charlotte.

You will provide friendly customer service, handle cash where applicable, and assist with safety procedures; shifts are Thu-Sun evenings and weekends; outdoor work in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
• Previous experience in parking management, event services, or customer-facing roles is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Direct vehicles to parking spaces and maximize capacity and efficiency.
• Direct traffic flow within parking lots to prevent congestion and maintain smooth vehicle movement.
• Provide friendly assistance and directions to attendees and answer questions as needed.
• Collect parking fees and issue receipts; handle cash transactions accurately and securely.
• Monitor parking areas for safety hazards and report concerns to supervisory staff.
