Job summary

AdviniaCare Orchard View in Riverside, RI is seeking a friendly, professional Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our community. You will manage the front desk, answer calls, and support our team with general administrative tasks.

Evening and weekend hours are required. Prior long-term care experience is preferred but not required, and a warm, professional demeanor on the phone and in person is essential.

Qualifications

• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Warm, professional demeanor in person and on the phone.
• Comfortable with computers and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Answer, screen, and forward calls on the telephone switchboard, providing information and taking messages
• Greet all visitors entering the facility and direct or escort them to their destination
• Assist residents, family members, employees, and visitors as needed
• Maintain building security by following procedures and controlling access, including monitoring the visitor logbook and surveillance footage
• Perform general administrative tasks such as word processing and data entry
• Maintain the general filing system and file correspondence appropriately
• Receive and sort daily mail, deliveries, and couriers
• Report any resident issues or concerns to the Administrator
• Other duties as assigned
