Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a Caregiver (Part Time) to support our residents on weekends, with shifts from 2 pm–10 pm. You will provide essential ADL assistance, promote wellbeing, and ensure safety and dignity in every interaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED), required.
• First Aid, CPR, and Medication Management Certifications (if required by state) and maintain through training.
• Food Handler’s Card preferred; training will be provided if required and not already held.
• Nurses Aide Certification, preferred unless required by the state.
• 1+ years of prior caregiving experience preferred; on-the-job training available.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to lift and assist residents and support ADLs and mobility.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident needs promptly while maintaining independence, dignity, safety, and privacy.
• Read and validate shift reporting and ISP at the start of each shift.
• Complete all resident assignments as directed in ISP during the shift.
• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, hygiene, mealtime activities, and mobility.
• Perform safety checks and report changes in resident condition.
• Provide safe transport and transfers for residents as needed.
• Respond to behavioral expressions with compassion and follow policy.
• Lead engagement and participate in resident programs; perform housekeeping and laundry tasks.
