Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Caregiver (weekends) to support residents with daily living activities, mobility, meals, and personal care. The role emphasizes dignity, safety, and high-quality service within a hospitality-focused environment.

You will work with a team to implement care plans, monitor resident well-being, and assist with activities and daily routines while maintaining professionalism and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Nurses Aid certification preferred.
• Current first aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident needs promptly while maintaining dignity and safety (50%).
• Read and follow care plans to ensure proper care.
• Assist residents in daily living activities including bathing, dressing, hygiene, meals, and mobility.
• Provide assistance at mealtime with selecting meals, serving, and clearing.
• Transport residents as needed with safe transfers.
• Perform regular safety checks on residents.
• Encourage participation in daily activities and life enrichment.
• Complete laundry and assist with community duties as required.
• Manage oxygen tanks and concentrators per MD orders.
• Document and report any changes to supervisors promptly.
• Respond to resident alerts using walkie-talkies and address emergencies.
