Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital is seeking a part-time registered nurse to support patient care in the evenings with a 16-hour weekly schedule. The role includes every third weekend and holiday rotations, with a base rate of $36.90 per hour plus applicable shift differentials.

The position requires a BSN or an associate degree with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years, and Ohio RN licensure. CPR certification is required, with potential requirement for NRP, PALS, ACLS, or APHON certifications

Qualifications

• BSN or associate degree required with plan to complete BSN within 5 years
• RN license in Ohio is required
• CPR certification current; willingness to obtain NRP, PALS, ACLS, APHON or other certifications as directed

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach and assesses patient needs
• Communicates care needs to LPNs, PCAs, unit coordinators, and allied health staff
• Plans, implements, educates, and evaluates patient care using evidence-based practices
• Documents according to organizational standards, policies, and procedures

Education

BSN or Associate degree with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio

Current CPR certification

Willing to obtain NRP, PALS, ACLS, APHON or other certification as determined by manager
