Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH seeks an experienced RN for night shift to support pediatric patients. Roles require an Ohio RN license and a BSN or associate degree with commitment to BSN within 5 years.

0.6 or 0.8 FTE options include every-other-weekend schedules with a starting rate of $36.90/hour plus night and weekend differentials. Responsibilities include providing patient-centered care, coordinating with LPNs, PCAs, and other staff, documenting per policy, and

Qualifications

BSN or Associate degree with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
Current CPR certification required.
Willing to obtain and maintain NRP, PALS, ACLS, APHON or other certification as determined by the manager.

Responsibilities

Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
Assesses individualized patient needs and communicates care priorities to team members.
Plans, implements, educates and evaluates care using Evidence-Based Practices.
Utilizes Therapeutic Communication while monitoring patient and family needs.
Documents according to organizational standards and reports updates to staff.
