Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital in Ohio is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to support patient care during evenings with an every-other-weekend rotation. The role emphasizes family-centered nursing, adherence to ANA ethics, and maintaining Ohio RN licensure.

Base pay is $36.90/hour with applicable shift differentials. CPR certification is required, with opportunities to obtain NRP, PALS, ACLS, or APHON as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold Ohio RN license; BSN or ADN with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Willing to obtain NRP, PALS, ACLS, APHON as determined by manager.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
• Assesses individualized patient needs and communicates care needs to the team.
• Plans, implements, educates and evaluates care using Evidence-Based Practices.
• Utilizes Therapeutic Communication while monitoring needs of patients and families.
• Engages in quality improvement activities and reports updates to staff.
