Job summary

Holy Cross Health Fl in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Part-time Nutritional Associate to support patient meal service. Hours are 4:00 pm–8:30 pm, three days a week with rotating weekends and holidays.

You will deliver patient trays, verify patient identity, take orders, serve meals, assist with opening containers, and help in the dish room and beverage areas. The role emphasizes customer service, basic computer skills, and knowledge of hospital diets, with training on allergies and foodborne

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend English.
• Ability to multi-task and work without supervision in a timely manner.
• Prior customer-service and food handling experience preferred.
• Excellent customer-service skills and patience with patients.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient trays and verifies patient identity.
• Takes patient orders over the phone and in person with excellent service.
• Delivers carts to the correct floor or patient area and serves trays.
• Assists patients with opening containers and cutting food when requested.
• Assembles, retrieves and cleans patient trays; assists in the dish room.
• Brews coffee and tea and restocks beverage areas as needed.
• Attends allergy and foodborne illness in-service trainings.
• Follows Trinity Health policies; performs other duties as assigned.
